A FAST PACED, RISK STRATEGY GAME:
Fidu will train your brain to make the ‘optimal decision’.
Fidu is a conflict between 2 rational decision makers, each trying to make the right choice that will maximize their chance of a higher payoff than their competitor.
THE GAME PLOT (ONE PLAYER vs CPU):
A currency (Fidu) is traded between a Market Maker (Blue) & a Market Taker (Orange), the CPU.
Blue creates a Fidu Shell Company that is made up of 96 squares (similar to company shares) & assigns a ‘Square Price’. The maximum at stake is 96 x ‘Square Price’.
A trading session consists of 3 trading rounds. In each round, Blue & Orange are presented with a grid of 16 randomly arranged tiles. Each tile consists of 16 blue or orange squares.
Two tiles are selected per grid. The first tile is selected by Blue choosing a row (R1 to R4) and Orange choosing a column (C1 to C4). The second tile is selected by Orange choosing a row and Blue choosing a column.
The objective of each trader is to maximize their chance of having a tile selected that contains more squares of their respective colour (blue or orange).
The trader with the least squares traded pays the other trader the ‘Square Difference’ x ‘Square Price’.
